My Story
A passionate career changer from chartered town planning consultancy into horticulture who, in his mid 30s, is in the middle of an exciting journey, mixed between showcasing the length and breath of what our sector has to offer and getting hands in the soil. Established in 2021, Groovy Gardening has developed a social media footing and can assist you. Now relocated to Guernsey in the Channel Islands for a paradise new start in life, initially as a head gardener in hotels but now fully freelance supporting mostly private households and commercial businesses across the Bailiwick with their future garden aspirations, supported by a trusted local first supply and labour chain.
In addition I have developed an extensive media presence in the horticultural industry and its links here as I travel and as I grow my profile and the above media logo reflects my individual brand for this launched in September 2025.
Guernsey is my favourite place in the world and my motto is to proudly and sustainably champion the Bailiwick to horticulturally better itself.
